Flipkart

Flipkart is the big Indian marketplace people reach for when they want an Amazon-style catalog with heavy discounting and a lot of marketplace traffic. By our assessment, it works best as a mass retail platform: electronics, household goods, fashion, and groceries all sit under one roof, with app-first browsing, wallet and checkout flows, and a delivery network that has become part of everyday online shopping in India. The upside is scale and selection; the downside is the same one that follows any large marketplace, with quality varying by seller and the search results often feeling crowded. In practice it is a place for comparing listings rather than browsing a carefully edited store. Against Amazon India and Reliance-backed rivals, Flipkart has long been one of the main names in Indian e-commerce. It fits shoppers who want choice and discounts more than polish.
