FOX PAUL LEWIS

FOX PAUL LEWIS looks like a personal professional name, the sort that might belong to an attorney, accountant, consultant, or other one-person practice. By our assessment, that gives it a clean, unsentimental tone: it is easy to read and easy to remember, but it tells you almost nothing about the actual line of work. The downside is the lack of built-in explanation, so the name only becomes useful once the surrounding context does the heavy lifting. In practice, these names work well where the person is the service and reputation travels through direct contact. It sits closer to a signed doorplate than a branded company, and that is exactly its character. FOX PAUL LEWIS is a label for a person’s business, not a description of the business itself.
