Expeditors International

Expeditors International lives in the world of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and supply-chain coordination, so it is for businesses that need cargo moved without owning the whole transport chain themselves. By our assessment, it is good at the unglamorous work of documenting, routing, and keeping international shipments organized across borders. The downside is that this is a service business built on process, not on visible spectacle, so most people only notice it when something needs to clear customs cleanly. In practice the company sits in the background of trade rather than on the customer-facing edge of it. Against big integrated logistics groups, it looks more specialized and less flashy, but that narrower focus is part of the appeal. The Astrina catalogue records US for Expeditors International, which is the United States. It is the kind of company that matters most when paperwork and routing have to be right.
