EDCT FOOD SERVICES

EDCT FOOD SERVICES points to the unglamorous part of food work: feeding people through canteens, catering, cafeterias, or institutional kitchens. By our assessment, that is a useful business when it is run well, because food service stands or falls on timing, cleanliness, portion control, and keeping the same standard day after day. The downside is the obvious one: margins are tight, menus can become repetitive, and any slip in handling shows up quickly in customer trust. In practice this is steady, logistical work, not the flashy side of cooking; trays, batches, schedules, and supply orders matter more than presentation. It sits between a restaurant and a back-of-house contractor, and the name suggests a service company rather than a consumer food brand.
