Dish Network

By our assessment, Dish Network is the kind of satellite TV company people turn to when they need live channels in places where cable is weak or absent, and its core strength is still that simple bundle of TV service and hardware. The trade-off is the old one for satellite: weather can matter, installation is more involved, and the whole setup feels less flexible than streaming. In practice it is a box, a dish and a channel lineup rather than a polished app-first experience. It sits in the middle of pay TV, behind the big cable bundles and alongside DirecTV, with less glamour but a very clear job. The dish-based model is a little old-fashioned, but it still does the job it was built for.
