DOTONE RAIL COMPANY

DOTONE RAIL COMPANY is the clearest of the set in one respect: it points straight at rail work, so people can place it as a transport or infrastructure business. By our assessment, that makes it useful as a corporate name because it is simple and direct, with little ornament. The downside is the same directness, since it says almost nothing about whether the company runs trains, owns track, handles freight, or serves passengers. In practice the name feels sturdy and industrial, the sort of label that belongs on documents and siding signs more than in a consumer ad. Against broader logistics names it is narrower, but still not exact. It reads as a rail business first and a particular rail business only after more context arrives.
