DIFFRACTION LIMITED

DIFFRACTION LIMITED sounds like a technical supplier rather than a consumer brand, and as a company name it stays frustratingly opaque. By our assessment, it gives almost no clue whether the business is in optics, engineering, software, or something entirely different, so the practical job it does is mostly on paper: it identifies a firm without telling you what the firm actually sells. That makes it hard to judge on substance, but also hard to misunderstand. The name is clean and memorable enough, yet it is the sort of label that works better on a letterhead than in a quick search. As a company, it sits in the large anonymous middle of corporate names, where formality is easy and character is thin. There is nothing here that suggests a clear public-facing specialty, which means the card can only be modestly positive.
