DIAMOND SHORTBREAK HOLIDAYS LIMITED is the sort of travel company aimed at short leisure trips, where the selling point is not a grand itinerary but a quick change of scene. By our assessment, the appeal of that kind of firm is convenience: a packaged break, less planning, and a clearer path from booking to departure. The trade-off is narrowness, because short breaks leave little room for slow travel, deep customization, or the kind of wandering some people want from a holiday. In practice, this category usually means set packages, fixed dates, and a lot of practical details bundled together, which can be reassuring if time is tight. It sits between traditional tour operators and DIY travel booking, closer to the former when the package is fixed. The name tells you the product clearly enough, and that clarity is the main thing it has going for it.
