Crown Resorts Co Ltd

Crown Resorts Co Ltd is best known as a casino and hotel operator, so it sits in the part of hospitality that sells gaming floors, rooms, restaurants and big entertainment complexes. By our assessment, the name carries the sort of scale and polish people expect from that sector, with the casino side doing the heavy lifting and the hotels and dining filling out the experience. The trade-off is familiar too: this is not a quiet, low-key business, and its appeal depends on leisure spending, regulation and the risks that come with gambling. In practice it is the kind of company people notice through venues rather than through a product on a shelf, and the whole thing lives or dies on atmosphere, service and floor traffic. It stands closer to the integrated resort model than to a simple hotel chain, which means a broader offer and a more complicated operation.
