Commercial International Bank

Commercial International Bank is a major Egyptian bank for everyday accounts, cards, lending and business banking. By our assessment, it is strongest as a full-service retail and corporate bank with a big branch footprint and the sort of products people expect from a mainstream lender. The trade-off is the usual one for a large bank: lots of process, paperwork and waiting, because breadth comes before elegance. In practice that means counters, queues, forms and online tools living side by side. Against smaller niche lenders, it is the safer, more conventional choice in the Egyptian market rather than a specialist play. The country code places it in Egypt, and that fits the plain, broad-coverage role it serves.
