Cellnex

Cellnex is the infrastructure owner behind mobile networks, the company that rents towers, rooftops, and antenna sites to operators instead of selling service to end users. By our assessment, its main strength is scale: tower networks are durable assets, and one site can be shared across several carriers, which makes the model efficient. The compromise is that this is a capital-heavy, regulated business with long contracts and less drama than a consumer telecom brand. In practice Cellnex is the sort of company that matters most when you think about coverage, tenancy, and the physical footprint of wireless networks, not handsets or tariffs. It sits in the European tower company camp rather than the mobile-operator camp, so the comparison is with site landlords and infrastructure specialists. Cellnex is for people who want exposure to telecom infrastructure, not for anyone looking for a customer-facing phone service.
