Capgemini

Capgemini sits in the consulting-and-outsourcing lane, the kind of firm companies call when they want systems work, cloud projects, data work, and long-running delivery help. By our assessment, its strength is that it can cover strategy, integration, and the hands-on build without forcing a client to stitch together many vendors. The trade-off is the usual one for big IT services: work can feel process-heavy, and the value depends on how well a large account team is run. In practice it is less about a single product than about large projects, managed service contracts, and staff who live inside other companies’ problems. It is not the sharpest boutique if someone wants a tiny specialist, but it is solid when breadth and scale matter. Capgemini is French, which fits its long European corporate profile and global delivery model.
