CHARLES E. SEVERT gives you a name and very little else, which is a weak place to start for any company card. By our assessment, the entry is too sparse to describe a product line, a market role, or even the kind of work a reader would usually want to pin down. Its strength is only that it is plainly recorded; its weakness is that nothing public and concrete follows from it. In use, that leaves an almost blank impression, closer to an index line than to a company with substance. It is not really competing with known firms so much as failing to become one on the page.
