Bentley

Bentley sits at the polished end of British luxury motoring, and by our assessment, it is for people who want the cabin, ride and badge to do the talking before the car does. The strength is the sense of weight and finish: Bentley is known for hand-trimmed interiors, big touring cars and a comfort-first approach that still leaves room for serious performance. The trade-off is obvious too, because this kind of luxury brings size, cost and running expenses that make little sense outside that world. In practice it feels less like a showpiece and more like a very expensive long-distance tool, with quiet cabins and a deliberate, heavy manner. Against Mercedes-Maybach, Rolls-Royce and the better grand tourers, Bentley usually looks a little more driver-focused than the Rolls and a little more indulgent than the Germans. It is a name for buyers who want old-world prestige without giving up speed, and it is not trying to be subtle or cheap.
