Bain, Roderic

Bain, Roderic is the sort of company name that looks like an individual’s byline, so it suggests a small, personal, probably service-led business rather than a large public brand. By our assessment, that gives it a direct and low-noise character, which some customers may prefer when they want a single accountable name. The trade-off is that the name carries no clue about category, so it asks the reader to already know the context. In practice, it behaves more like a signature on paperwork than a description of the work itself. Relative to more descriptive business names, it is cleaner but much less informative.
