Astrocast SA is built for satellite Internet of Things, so the obvious audience is industry users who need small devices to send data from places that mobile networks do not cover well. By our assessment, that narrowness is also its main strength: low-power connected terminals and satellite links solve a real coverage problem instead of trying to be everything at once. The downside is that satellite connectivity is inherently harder, slower and more expensive to build than ordinary ground networks, so the ceiling is shaped by physics and deployment cost. In practice this means a company like Astrocast SA lives in logistics, remote assets, sensors and other machines that sit far from cities. Compared with broad telecom operators, it is much more specialized and much less familiar, which is fine if the job is remote telemetry and not ordinary phone service. It is a niche company with a clear use case, and the value is in coverage where other networks fade out.
