Adel Abad Prison

Adel Abad Prison is a prison, not a commercial brand, so the useful way to judge it is as a correctional facility rather than as something people choose for pleasure. By our assessment, the name is specific enough to place it in that hard category, where security, confinement and administration are the whole point. The downside is built into the thing itself: prisons are restrictive by design, and their experience is defined by control rather than comfort. In plain practice that means rules, gates and limited freedom, with very little of the ordinary give-and-take of public life. It belongs with detention facilities, not with services or institutions that invite users in, and that difference is the whole story.
