ASOS

ASOS is for online fashion shopping, especially when someone wants a big catalogue of clothes, shoes, and accessories without going through a physical store. By our assessment, its real strength is the retail engine: lots of choice, fast-moving stock, and a site built around browsing many looks rather than a few carefully edited ones. The trade-off is familiar to anyone who has used this kind of store: sizing can be awkward, the range can feel overwhelming, and fashion retail online depends heavily on returns and stock churn. In practice, ASOS is less about luxury curation and more about constant turnover, promotions, and the hope that one more page will have the right fit. It sits between a general marketplace and a fashion boutique, but with neither the hand-picked feel of the latter nor the seller variety of the former. ASOS is based in the United Kingdom.
