ASHTON RIBBLE LTD

ASHTON RIBBLE LTD has the flat, industrial feel of a company that could be dealing in property, building supply, or some other trade where the real work sits behind the name. By our assessment, that makes it sturdy as a holding-style label: formal, spare, and easy to file. The downside is that it gives a reader almost no picture of what the firm actually does, so the name is more administrative than informative. In practice this is the kind of company name people meet on documents before they meet it anywhere else. It belongs to the broad middle ground of limited companies whose identity is established by activity, not by the words on the letterhead.
