ARGOS

ARGOS is the kind of company name that can belong to several very different businesses, so the first impression is ambiguity rather than clarity. By our assessment, that makes it workable as a corporate label but weak as a guide for outsiders, because the name alone does not tell you whether this is about trading, logistics, industrial work, or something else entirely. The strength of a short name like this is memorability; the weakness is that it carries little meaning without context. In practice, a reader has to bring in outside knowledge before the name turns into a real picture of the company. It sits in the broad middle of business naming, plain enough to function and too generic to explain itself. That leaves it dependent on context instead of doing the explaining on its own.
