A&L GENERAL BUILDING LIMITED

A&L GENERAL BUILDING LIMITED is the kind of company name people associate with building work that is broad rather than specialised: extensions, repairs, maybe small commercial jobs, the sort of thing a homeowner or landlord looks for when a single trade is not enough. By our assessment, its strength is range, because general builders can handle mixed jobs that need coordination between masonry, carpentry, and finishing. The downside is that general building is also where quality can vary the most from firm to firm, since the name alone says nothing about standards, team size, or whether it prefers small fixes or larger projects. In practice this kind of company means site visits, estimates, dust, delays, and a lot of decisions made on the spot. It sits below a specialist contractor and above a one-off handyman job, which makes it useful only when the work is real building rather than light maintenance. With no checked facts to narrow it further, the rating stays restrained.
