Love Reset

Love Reset is a 2023 comedy built on a relationship collapsing and then being reset, so its audience is anyone who wants a broad Korean farce with romantic friction at the center. By our assessment, its main strength is the premise itself: it has a clean comic engine and plenty of room for awkward reversals. The limit is that this kind of comedy lives and dies on timing, and the setup can start to feel repetitive once the joke pattern is established. In practice it is the sort of film that keeps pushing embarrassment and exasperation rather than subtlety. Compared with gentler romantic comedies, it is more openly farcical and less delicate. It is not trying to be realistic relationship drama, and it works best when taken as a brisk, noisy reset-button comedy.
