Jetty

Jetty sits in the part of action cinema that cares more about movement and tension than about tidy talk. By our assessment, that gives it a clear purpose, but the kind of action film named Jetty is usually only as strong as its pacing and set pieces, so the ceiling is not very high if those do not land. In practice it is the sort of movie that asks for attention to momentum and for patience with genre routines. Against bigger, more polished action titles, it likely lives or dies on whether the action is sharp enough to hold the frame. The title itself suggests something lean and direct, and that is usually the promise such films have to keep.
