Ip Man 3

Ip Man 3 keeps the martial-arts series focused on clean movement, controlled impact, and the specific appeal of Wing Chun as screen action. By our assessment, it is at its best when the choreography stays crisp and the fights read clearly, because that style is the reason people come to this kind of film. The downside is familiar to long-running action series: the story has to serve the action, so character material can feel secondary. In practice it has the rhythm of polished fight cinema, where spacing, timing, and body position matter as much as punches. It sits comfortably among the better modern kung fu sequels rather than trying to reinvent the format. Ip Man 3 is for viewers who want disciplined action and do not need the script to carry the whole evening.
