28 Weeks Later is a brutal horror sequel built for viewers who want panic, заражение-spread tension, and a world that feels dangerous the moment it opens up. By our assessment, the strongest thing about it is the pressure it keeps on every scene: escape, containment, and the sense that calm never lasts long. The downside is that this kind of sequel has to move fast, so character shading and quiet atmosphere are thinner than in slower horror. In practice it is the sort of film that keeps pushing forward rather than lingering, which is exactly the point here. Compared with the first wave of outbreak horror, it leans harder into chaos and scale. The number in the title is part of the name, not a promise of anything beyond the film itself.
