fault - milestone one

fault - milestone one is a visual novel first and a game second, built for readers who want character scenes and a strong fantasy setting more than mechanics. By our assessment, it is good at direct storytelling and at presenting its world with a clean, focused pace. The honest limit is that visual novels live or die on how much the player wants to read, and this one is not pretending to be something else. In practice, that means lots of text, little friction, and very little in the way of action or system play. Compared with choice-heavy adventure games, fault - milestone one sits in the more straightforward, more linear end of the medium. It is a sensible pick for someone who mainly wants a story in game form, and a poor fit for anyone looking for hands-on play.
