Zup! Zero is a minimalist puzzle game that strips the idea down to simple physics, clean levels, and very little fuss. By our assessment, that plainness is the whole point: it asks for short bursts of spatial thinking rather than long study or elaborate story. The good part is the clarity, because the screen is not cluttered and the rules usually read quickly. The downside is just as plain, since stripped-down puzzle games can feel slight once the core trick is understood. In practice it is the sort of thing people tap through for a quick mental reset, not a deep evening-long challenge. Zup! Zero sits on the casual end of puzzle design and does not try to be more than that.
