Zombidle : REMONSTERED

Zombidle : REMONSTERED is an idle game about sending monsters and undead minions to do the repetitive work while the player makes occasional upgrades and watches numbers climb. By our assessment, its strength is the idle loop itself: it understands the pleasure of background progress and constant small unlocks. The trade-off is obvious, because the game is intentionally hands-off and can feel shallow if someone wants active play or tactical control. In practice it is the kind of thing that sits open, gets checked now and then, and rewards patience more than attention. It belongs with clickers and idle RPGs rather than with demanding strategy games, and the weird punctuation in the title fits the monster-mash attitude. Zombidle : REMONSTERED is for anyone who likes incremental systems and does not mind a game that mostly runs on its own.
