Zero Caliber VR

Zero Caliber VR asks for the kind of attention flat-screen shooters can ignore: hand movement, aiming, reloading, and keeping track of your body in space. By our assessment, its best quality is the physicality of VR gunplay, especially when a shooter wants manual weapon handling instead of button-push abstraction. The downside is that VR shooting also brings VR fatigue, because standing, reaching, and managing controllers can be tiring long before the firefight gets old. In practice, the game lives or dies on how comfortable someone is with motion, volume in the room, and repeated weapon manipulation. Compared with traditional military shooters, it is more immediate and more awkward at the same time, which is part of the trade. Zero Caliber VR suits players who want VR combat first and are fine with the extra effort that comes with it.
