Worms 2: Armageddon

Terrain is part of the strategy in Worms 2: Armageddon, not just scenery: the teams take turns firing weapons across a destructible landscape. Players judge distance and trajectory, choose from an arsenal, and try to leave the other side with fewer safe options. The cartoon presentation keeps the battles playful, while the turn-based pace gives each shot room to matter. By our assessment, that mix of tactical choices, comic weapons, and changing ground makes it a distinctive alternative to fast, continuous action games. Campaign challenges give solo play a clear structure, while multiplayer makes the same tactical turns less predictable. The trade-off is that aiming can feel slow, and a poor position can narrow the choices available on a turn. After an explosion, the next shot may have a different route because the landscape has changed.
