Woodle Tree Adventures

Woodle Tree Adventures is a small platformer built around bright colors, simple movement, and collecting things across compact levels. By our assessment, its main value is that it keeps the task plain: jump, explore, gather, and move on, which can be pleasant when someone wants a light game without heavy systems. The weakness is also plain, because this kind of platformer has a low ceiling once the level ideas and controls have been seen a few times. In practice it tends to feel airy and uncomplicated, with more emphasis on being cute and readable than on challenge or depth. Compared with bigger platformers, it sits at the simpler end of the genre and does not try to compete on complexity. Woodle Tree Adventures is for people who want a small, easygoing platform game, and it runs out of room if they are looking for long, sharp, or highly inventive stages.
