The trade-off is obvious, though, because the joke depends on the map, the player count, and the group being willing to keep the chase moving; when those line up poorly, the rounds can feel thin. In practice it is about quick peeks, noisy panic, and a lot of attention to object shapes rather than deep systems. Compared with larger multiplayer shooters, Witch It is lighter and sillier, and that is the point.
