Windlands is built around movement first: swinging through open spaces with grappling hooks, grabbing ledges, and treating traversal as the main reward. That makes it a good fit for players who enjoy learning a route and then trying to make it flow cleanly. By our assessment, its biggest strength is that sense of speed and height, where getting from one perch to the next feels like the whole game. The trade-off is obvious too: if the joy of movement is not enough on its own, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it asks for timing, patience, and a bit of comfort with falling and trying again. It sits closer to a movement challenge than a combat game, and the ceiling is the player's own control over momentum.
