Wildfrost

Wildfrost builds its appeal out of card play that is as much about the board as about the deck, so every turn has to account for positioning and timing, not just hand quality. By our assessment, that mix is what makes it stand out in the crowded roguelike deckbuilder space: it turns the usual card-combo habit into something closer to tactical placement. The downside is that it demands concentration and tolerance for runs that can collapse quickly if a plan is sloppy. In practice it feels sharp, readably hostile, and very tuned to players who enjoy learning enemy behavior and cleaning up mistakes on later runs. Compared with looser deckbuilders, Wildfrost is more exacting and more positional. It rewards planning and attention to the board, and it does not pretend to be a relaxed card game.
