Wilderless: Meadowfell is for wandering, not for winning, and that difference is its whole point. By our assessment, it does one thing well: give a wide, quiet landscape to roam through with almost no pressure. The honest limit is also the appeal for many players, because there is little in the way of objectives, combat, or narrative drive. In practice it feels like slow walking, camera work, and noticing weather, light, and open space. It sits in the small corner of exploratory chill games rather than the main survival or adventure crowd. The name says enough: this is a meadow-first experience, and the system leaves you room to simply stay there.
