Welcome to ParadiZe

Welcome to ParadiZe builds its whole pitch around an odd survival-combat mix, where a zombie setting is paired with control and management rather than pure dread. By our assessment, that twist is the main reason to notice it: the game tries to turn familiar undead chaos into something more gamey and directed. The downside is that this kind of blend can leave it sitting between moods, never as tense as a straight horror survival game and never as precise as a dedicated strategy title. In play, that usually means juggling danger, tools, and systems at the same time, which can be busy in a way some players enjoy and others do not. Compared with standard zombie shooters, Welcome to ParadiZe sounds more playful and more mechanic-heavy, with a stronger emphasis on handling the situation than on simply surviving it. It suits players who want a lighter take on the zombie genre, and it is not trying to be grim horror at all.
