Weedcraft Inc

Weedcraft Inc is a management game about running a legal marijuana business, so the appeal is in juggling growers, storefronts, pricing, and the ugly side of local rules. By our assessment, it works best when the player likes spreadsheet-minded strategy with a comic edge rather than action or story first. The strength is the premise itself: few games make the business of cultivation and distribution feel this direct. The downside is that the loop can feel dry if economic management is not the thing you came for, because the whole game is built around numbers, menus, and routine decisions. In practice it asks for patience more than reflexes, and that steady pace is the point. It sits closer to tycoon and management games than to any kind of open-ended sim, with a theme that is more specific than most of its peers. The name tells you the joke and the job at the same time, and the game mostly lives on that combination.
