Waveform

Waveform is a movement puzzle game where the player steers a pulse along a line and bends it through space, so attention is the whole point. By our assessment, its best quality is how clearly it turns a simple idea into a tense spatial rhythm: you are not fighting enemies so much as tracing a path through obstacles and timing shifts. The limit is that its appeal is narrow, because this kind of precision puzzle depends on patience and on liking repeated restarts while learning a route. In practice it feels clean and focused, with the screen and your timing doing almost all the work. It stands closer to abstract reflex games than to narrative adventures or action-heavy platformers. The name fits the play exactly, and the game leaves little room for anything else. It is a good pick for players who enjoy pattern learning and careful movement, and it will feel too spare for anyone wanting variety or story.
