Warpath: Ace Shooter

Warpath: Ace Shooter asks for fast aim and steady tapping, and it is for players who like military-themed mobile shooters with upgrade layers on top. By our assessment, its main strength is the clear loop of shooting, collecting, and improving units or gear, which gives it a sense of motion even when the maps themselves are not doing much new. The downside is the same one that haunts many mobile shooters: repetition, familiar combat beats, and plenty of progression systems around the actual firefights. In practice it feels busy without being complicated, which can be exactly the point for this kind of game. It sits closer to other free-to-play action games than to a pure arcade shooter, and the upgrade layer is doing a lot of the work.
