Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is co-op first-person hacking and slashing for players who want to cut through crowds of ratmen with melee weapons and keep moving as a team. By our assessment, its big strength is the feel of close combat: swings have weight, specials break the rhythm, and every run depends on watching the horde as much as the tunnel ahead. The downside is also built into that formula, since repetition sets in if the maps and objectives do not hold your attention. In practice it is loud, crowded, and more about survival through coordination than about clever puzzles or quiet exploration. Compared with other Warhammer action games, it leans harder into dense, repetitive missions and cleaner co-op flow. The 2 is part of the title, and the game uses that sequel structure exactly as expected.
