Wargroove 2

Wargroove 2 is for players who want turn-based tactics with clear grids, strong unit roles, and the familiar business of capturing buildings, managing terrain, and setting up a better next turn. By our assessment, its best trait is that it keeps the Advance Wars-style feel without pretending to be something else, and the sequel label tells you exactly where it stands: more of that formula, not a reinvention. The trade-off is that grid tactics always ask for patience, because a bad move can echo for several turns and the game rewards careful positioning more than flash. In practice it is the sort of game where one extra tile, one forest edge, or one exposed unit changes the whole turn. Compared with looser strategy games, Wargroove 2 is more exact and more readable, which makes it easier to learn but also more demanding of attention. It suits people who enjoy thinking a move ahead and do not mind losing momentum while they do it.
