War of Rights

War of Rights demands discipline more than quick reflexes, because it is built around slow infantry combat, formation play, and a historical Civil War setting. By our assessment, that commitment to period tactics is its biggest strength: muskets, lines, volleys, and coordination give each fight a clear shape. The downside is also built into the premise, since the pace can be very slow and the whole thing depends on players following the structure instead of running off alone. In practice it feels more like standing in a unit and waiting for the right moment than like a fast competitive shooter. Compared with modern military games, it is deliberately narrow and much less forgiving. It will matter most to players who want historical atmosphere and organized teamwork, while anyone looking for quick solo action will not get that here. The game keeps its focus on rank, line, and timing, which is exactly what it asks from the player.
