War Selection

War Selection is an RTS for people who like starting with a small settlement and watching it turn into a much larger war machine. By our assessment, its draw is the broad sweep of eras and the scale of its fights, which give it a more sprawling feel than a tight competitive strategy game. The downside is that big-scale strategy often means slower pacing, more setup, and a lot of unit management before the interesting part really blooms. In practice this kind of game asks for patience and a taste for systems, not just quick clicks. It sits closer to large-scale war strategy than to polished e-sports RTS design, so it is less about razor-edge balance and more about building momentum. War Selection is for players who want a long ramp and a sense of battlefield growth, not for people who want matches to end quickly. The battlefield fills up gradually, and that gradual build is the whole point.
