War Robots: Frontiers

War Robots: Frontiers is a mech shooter built around heavy machines, loadouts, and the slow business of choosing where a big robot should stand. By our assessment, the appeal is in the weight of the machines and the role-based feel of team fights, where position and fire arcs matter more than twitch movement. The limit is familiar for the genre: matches can turn into careful lumbering or range control, and the game depends on whether that slower mech rhythm is what someone wants. In practice it is less about reflex spectacle than about mounting weapons, trading ground, and managing a machine that is meant to feel large. Compared with faster hero shooters, it leans more deliberate; compared with older mech games, it looks like a modern multiplayer take on the same basic idea. War Robots: Frontiers will suit players who like armored robots and methodical team combat, while anyone wanting speed and loose movement will probably bounce off it.
