WWII Tanks: Forgotten Battles asks for patience with steel-on-steel tactics rather than quick arcade reflexes. By our assessment, that is the main appeal: it centers on World War II tank combat, with positioning, line of sight, and weapon matchups doing the work instead of flashy spectacle. The downside is that this kind of game can feel slow and a bit rigid if someone wants instant action or broad strategic variety. In practice the pleasure comes from inching armor into place, reading terrain, and surviving because the angle was right. It sits with other tank-focused war games and is less of a general strategy title than a vehicle-combat one. That makes it best for players who enjoy careful maneuvers and historical hardware, not for people looking for a fast shooter in disguise.
