WWE 2K24

WWE 2K24 is for wrestling fans who want a big roster, exhibition matches, and the full pageantry of modern WWE in game form. By our assessment, it is strongest when it leans into entrances, signature moves, and the feel of building a match toward a finish. The trade-off is that WWE games always live with a busy control scheme and a lot of systems layered on top of each other, so newcomers can spend real time learning the basics. In play it tends to feel like a spectacle first and a clean sport sim second. Against other wrestling games, WWE 2K24 sits at the polished mainstream end of the field rather than the arcade end. It is the sort of game that rewards fans who already know the presentation and the characters, and it asks a bit too much setup from anyone who just wants to press buttons and go. The name itself carries the 2K24 branding, and that is exactly the kind of annualized series entry it is.
