WE ARE FOOTBALL

WE ARE FOOTBALL is a football management game for people who want transfers, tactics, club finances, and league tables rather than direct control of players on the pitch. By our assessment, its real strength is the administrative side: picking lineups, balancing budgets, and living with the consequences of one decision after another. The trade-off is that it is more spreadsheet-and-calendar than action, so anyone wanting instant match drama will feel the pace drag. In use, it has the familiar rhythm of the genre: squad screens, fixture lists, transfer windows, and the slow satisfaction of building a club over time. Compared with Football Manager, it sits in the same broad management space but with a lighter, more streamlined feel. WE ARE FOOTBALL makes sense for players who enjoy football as planning, not as button-mashing, and the ceiling is always the limits of that more compact approach.
