WARTILE

WARTILE wants attention, because its whole pleasure comes from small tactical choices on a diorama-like board. It is a strategy game for players who enjoy moving units carefully, timing abilities, and treating each fight as a compact puzzle. By our assessment, its best feature is the physical, miniature-tabletop feel it gives to turn-based combat. The limit is that this style can feel slow and narrow if you want sprawling armies or a very long campaign. In practice you are constantly reading spacing, position, and the next exchange rather than rushing through menus, so each decision lands with a bit of weight. Compared with larger strategy games, WARTILE is more intimate and more concerned with individual skirmishes. It suits people who like tactical small-scale battles, and it stops being satisfying if they want grand build-up instead of careful moves.
