Voxel Tycoon

Voxel Tycoon is for players who enjoy logistics games where the real pleasure comes from making a transport network click into place. Its strongest point is the mix of voxel construction, factories, trains, trucks, and production chains, which gives the player a constant job of connecting extraction to processing to delivery. By our assessment, it stands in the same broad family as Transport Tycoon-style management games, but with a modern voxel look and a heavier focus on building industry from the ground up. The downside is that this kind of game can become fiddly, because routes, layouts, and supply lines all want attention at once. In practice it is a game of watching numbers, reshaping stations, and nudging systems until the map starts to flow. It suits people who like planning and quiet optimisation; anyone wanting a relaxed city toy without spreadsheets should look elsewhere. Voxel Tycoon is not about spectacle so much as getting a machine to run cleanly.
