Undead Citadel

Undead Citadel is a VR action game for people who want close-range zombie fighting with swords, axes, and whatever else can be swung by hand. By our assessment, its clearest strength is the physicality of VR combat: blocks, swings, and picking through undead bodies are the whole point, not a side feature. That same focus also limits it, because this kind of game lives or dies on how convincing the collisions and aiming feel, and repetition arrives quickly when the loop is mostly melee cleanup. In practice it asks for room, patience, and a tolerance for VR jank. It sits with the wave of first-person VR brawlers rather than big narrative horror, and the appeal is the hand-to-hand mess of it, not a broad systems game.
